March, TUESDAY, 18, 1862. Another very nice day but not very many in town I think it wil be another very dull day in Point of business Johnathan and I were out Last night Calling of the Ladies we had a grand time but I feel very bad to day this has been rather more Lively to day than I expected the mud did not dry up very fast to day. the mail just arrived it brings no news of Importence the war goes Bravely on I believe I wish our folks would get some new goods or I will get the blues so bad that I will have to leave I wish I had the wherewith to go on but I guess I will not raise it.
