Tomato Bisque. 1 can tomatoes 1 qt. milk 1 finely chopped onion 4 tbsp. flour 4 heaping tbsps butter 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. finely chopped parsley celery salt & 6 cloves pinch of baking soda red pepper a few whole peppers 1 tbsp. tomato catsup Melt butter, add onion, cook 8 minutes; add flour, milk & seasonings, cook in double boiler 30 minutes. Cook tomatoes press through a sieve & add soda. Combine mixtures & serve immediately.
