13 Steadman's brigade and 2 brigades cavalry have quite a warm time near College Grove and fall back, Orders to be ready to march at moments notice. Brigade drill by Walker - 14th, Cooked 2 days rations last night, but do not go out to-day. A real sunday Election, or, allowed to choose our candidate for Governor, Walker Steedman & Todd. Obtained a bad name from Brannan for the bad condition of our camp A speech in the evening by Col Walker, which was an excellent one throughout Rain storm till night
