it will be like out at the base I can only guess. Rather think it will be alright, for we are to be stationed at an outlying field. Since we don't have to check in until tomorrow morning at 0800, Hobbs, Haugebak & I are putting up at an hotel in town. We really have been living a life of leisure for the past couple of weeks. At Norfolk we got no flying at all because of the ten day ground school prerequisite. It was quite easy and we were secure at 1530 each day, so for the most part we just sat on our duff. Should start flying right away down here, finishing up in about 5 weeks I believe. Some talk of our going up to Chicago for qualification in carrier landings and take offs. That sounds real good to me. In any event it looks as if we shall be finished training before our carrier is completely
