5 You spoke of my learning to sing I have not learnd much yet, nor do I think I can there is only five more lessons one to night I do not know as I shall go. I can not learn much he has them singing all the time and there is not half of them can read the notes, and there is only a few that can and they keep singing and he does not tell us any thing about it only to ask us to sing, once in a while. I told him the other day that I could not tell the notes only when they were on the natural scale (it is round notes) he said he was going to drill us on that yet but I would rather learn them first and then
