March 6th At Home Monday evening [1865?] Dear Friend I have seated my self this evening to write a few lines to you again. To let you know how we all flourish [wonderfully?] it has not been very long since I wrote to you. I have been almost sick for a few days with a cold, but I feel better this evening only a sore spot on my face. I do not know what it is but am a little afraid of Erysiplis we thought we would have the Dr look at it to day but did not see him go by but I am in hopes it will be well by moring Our school is out and it might as well be for it did not amount to much. the singing was the same but they are both done with now. We had a donation party in the neighborhood on Saturday night
