of the boys sick all the time. not so very sick but just sick enough not to be able for duty and there is some of the boys in better health than they were at home. we left Dave Cone and three or four others of our Company that were sick at St Louis. we heard from them afew days ago Dave Cone was no better than he was when we left him and one named Thomas Fullerton we dont expect to see again the doctors have give him up the others getting about again well I must write about something else we have agood camping place here its about amile and ahalf from the city with big orchards all around us plenty of apples and plenty of good cider for fifteen or twenty cents agallon and every thing else in proportion we have got all of our uniform and arms our clothes are made out of blue satenette they are pretty good looking
