January, Sunday 3, 1864 Camped near Woodville Ala, this fore noon C G Curtis came in and took diner with us after diner we pack up our traps and as soon as the cars came in we got a board of them and went down to the Regt,, a distant of 12 miles, we got to camp at 3 oclock P.M. we found it rather rough we had no tent to go in to the tents was all full and it commenced raining at dark
