January, Sunday 24, 1864 Near Wood Villes Ala We had Company inspection this A,M, and the regulation of war read to us today, & dress perraid in the P,M, as usaly. we have very pleasant weather verry much like spring weather north. January, Monday 25, 1864 Near Wood Ville Ala we drew ration to day for 10 day, we have had greate sport with Lieut Col; Coyl on a Sham election of Meayor he lectioneered for boath parties. I wrote a letter to Parthenia J. Brown to day
