January, Tuesday 26, 1864 Near Wood Ville Ala quite Pleasant to day it look very much like somer time. I had a gaim of ball to day, and I received a family letter from home this P.M. PJ B, G.W.B & Jas. Brown January, Wednesday 27, 1864 Near Wood Villes Ala To day the Vettern is all receiveing there Pay, Some of them are geting $375. while other only $75 the "green backs are flourishing in camp to day, it is very pleasant weather
