February, Tuesday 9, 1864 In Camp Wood Ville Ala I was on guard last night, we are laying here in camp trying to spend /or pass away the time the best we can. I traded my gold pen off to for two quire of paper and 2 bunches of anvlopes to day February, Wednesday10, 1864 In Camp Wood Ville Ala Today we drew ration for 3 days, I receive a letter from Uncle R T Brown it is very pleasant not much of notice Camp to day
