February, Wednesday 17, 1864 In Camp Wood Ville Ala It was very cold last night if frozen the mud up hard enough to lure a team this morning I was over to the Pioneer Corp to day February, Thursday 18, 1864 In Camp Wood Ville Ala I was over to Brigade Head quarters to day and got a large mail for the non veterans but none for my self, the Gen,, rhumor in Camp that there is a large battle a pending at Knox Vill Tenn. yesterd & today
