April, Friday 15, 1864 Near Wood Ville Ala This morning at 9 oclock our Regt had General review. at 10 A.M. the 1st,,& 3th,,Brigad was ordered to marc[h] to Hunts Ville in Defence of that plac[e] it is reported old Forest is marc[h]ing on that Place with his whole [force?] pf Cavelry April, Saturday 16, 1864 Near Wood Ville Ala Clear but High wind to day. E.C. Avery came in with his sutler Shop to day. he is trusting the [boy?] I believe. I drew 1 Pr Pantsloons to day and the Co drew Ration day
