April, Thursday 21, 1864 Near Wood Ville Ala We were relive at 9 oClock A.M. we drew new guns this A.M. the spring field Rifle a very fine polish gun an very light to what our old ones was. in the P.M. we had General review the 1st Division Brig Gen. John A. Logan & P J Oosterhaus the division look better than I ever saw them before April, Friday 22, 1864 Near Wood Ville Ala we had two Co. drills to day it is a pretty day and a fine one
