June, Thursday 2, 1864 Bivouoc near New Hope Church Ga we did not move to day there has been but little fireing to day there was heavy Skirmishing last night a good part of the time. we had quite a hard rain this after noon it commenced about noon to day and rain untill after dark. June, Friday 3, 1864 Bivouac near New Hope Church Ga not mutch of importance in Camp to day. it commenced raining at noon to day and rain all the rest of the day there has been a Small mail to day for the Regt,, our Division has been laying in the reserve for to day. our boys forage a box of Cracres last night which is very exceptable
