June, Friday 10, 1864 Camped near Kenesaw Station Ga we took up a line of march at 9 oclock A.M. and 7 miles we only moved up to the [remaining?] work our division has not ben engage yet we have had a number of showers of rain to day we got in to Camp at 3 oclock P.M. June, Saturday 11, 1864 Camped near Kenesaw Station Ga at 9 oclock this morning we move up on the enemy works and kept skirmishing with them it has rain most all day we have just and taken it all with great Courage I received a letter from Miss P.J. Brown today the Cars Came up to us this after noon from Chattanooga Tenn
