June, Saturday 18, 1864 Near Big Shanty Station Ga there was two alarms last night but they did not amount to much. it Commenced raining at day light this morning and rain all day steady, the Suppersision is that the rebles are falling back from this posision to the river June, Sunday 19, 1864 Near Big Shanty Station Ga. there was quite a stir up in Camp all night last we had to advance our lines on the enamy work to mid night. last. rain most all night, the enamy has evacuated there works at this point we took quite a number of prisners that had stragled I am quite sick to day on the Sick Report. the enamy only fell back on the side of the Kenensaw mountain they have fought hard all (Vertically, from bottom right:-) day to regain there old posision Upside-down, at head of page:-) it rain to day
