June, Friday 24, 1864 Near Kenasaw mountain every thing is very quiet to day the enamy has not fired a Canon to day that we have heard and but little musketry. we drew 2 day ration to day I received a letter from Parthenia J Brown to day June, Saturday 25, 1864 Near Kenasaw mountain Ga the enamy open a new battrie on us to day from the right mountain there has be heavy fireing most all day I wrote a letter to P. J. Brown, to day
