June, Sunday 26, 1864 Near Kenesaw mountain 1 oclock P.M. the weather is very pleasant every thing as I ever Saw it to home. every body is laying in there cots a reading and talking of gone by day. we had two men wounded. last night accidently at 2 oclock PM we received orders to move at 5 PM we are a going farther round to the right part of the 16th,, Corps relive us June, Monday 27, 1864 Near Kenessaw mountain we got here at this Camp at 11 oclock last night & relive the 14th,,Corps, & they have gone farther round to the right early this morning our forces made a Charge all round the lines our loss was heavy
