June, Tuesday 28, 1864 west end Kenasaw mountain I was on picket guard all night las and I am on the Skirmish line to day there is 4 dead rebles and one wounded lay just in front of our line between us and the rebles line kiled yet[day?] in the fracus it is very hot today, we have ben in a very Close place to day George Harper of Co H was wounded in the Hea[d?] June, Wednesday 29, 1864 west side Kenesaw mountain Ga there is little or no fireing to as yet 1 one oclock PM I wrote a letter to James Brown today weather very pleasant. I drew 1 one Blowse Coat to day $2,50
