August, Thursday 11, 1864 5 miles West of Atlanta there has been but little or no fireing to day the 14th A C made an agreeament not to fire on each other from 8 oclock last night un till 8 oclock this A.M I am on the sick list to day August, Friday 12, 1864 5 miles West of Atlanta there is not mutch of importance in Camp to day except Canonading occasionly. the rebles and our men are Seting upon there work, a looking at one another with a great courosity but no conversation or corrospondence is allowed I wrote a letter to J.D.Sanders to day
