Sept. Monday 12, 1864 Near East Point Ga. There is not much of note in camp all the teamsters of the [15?] A. C. has to graze their mules and Horses . the Regt are drawing clothing to day. Sept Tuesday 13 1864 Near East Point, Ga. I graze my team in the fore noon. We helped to build brush shelters for the mules in the afternoon. It has been a very Pleasant day. There is an armistist for ten days for the purpose of exchanging sick & wounded prisoners, the exchange camp is out at Rough & ready station a distant of 4 miles south of this
