Sept. Friday 16, 1864 Near East Point, Ga. We are fiting up shades for the mules to day. We draw full ration of grain for our teams [?] there was another trainload of noncombatents went out to the exchange camp to day. I drew one Pr of Pantaloons to day. And one Dress Coat $1.50. Sept. Saturday 17, 1864 Near East Point, Ga. There is a great move in camp at the present in changing of the troups or consolidateing of them the 1st & 4th Divisions are to consolidated together the 3rd & 2nd together our Brigade is the third Brig. in the place of 2nd second we removed our wagons today to give room for the 4th Div. to come in with us [?]
