For Salt Rhume No 1 White Precipitate 1 Dr Lead 1 oz magnesia 1 Dr of Fowler solusion 4 Drop 3 times a Day & wash with a solusion of sulphate of soda take Wine glass full of following Nitrite of Potash 2 Dr Vir Snake Root 1 " Water 1 lb No 2 Corosive Sublimate 6 gr Solusion of Nectrite lead 1 Dr Water 1 lb Sulphate of soda 1 oz Emetic Tarter 3 gr an effectual & safe cathartic when the arterial action is high Tobacco [poultice?] beat & mixt with a proper quanity of Spt and applied to the region of the stomach when emetics cannot be given by the mouth
