10 Dough Nuts 2 lb of light dough 1/2 " " sugar 4 eggs 6 oz of shortening half butter & half lard Beat sugar & shortening together add the eggs & dough & mix them all well together and put in flour enough to make a pretty stiff dough Cookies 2 Cups of sugar 2 eggs 1 " " butter Part of a nutmeg 1 " " cream 1 1/2 teaspoons of salaeratus 5 cups of flour or more if you need it to make it sufficiently stiff to roll.
