Plum Cake 1 lb Flour 1 lb Sugar 10 Eggs 15 Drops of the essence of lemon Whip Syllabub 1 quart cream 1 1/2 Pints wine 6 Lemons Sweeten it to your taste Whip them well & Together & put them in glasses Ginger Cake 4 lbs Flour. 1/2 lb Sugar 2 lb Butter. The sugar and Butter must be beat together till a cream 12 Eggs well beaten 2 oz Ginger & pearlash 1 oz Caraway seeds
