Sweet Potatoes a la mode (Yama Farms Parboil sweet potatoes. Remove skins and cut in 1" slices. Place in shallow pan. Pare, core, and slice several apples and put 1 apple ring on each slice of potatoes. Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and dots of butter on each. Bake in moderate oven until apple is tender basting occasionally with hot water. Place marshmallows in each apple ring and brown it slightly.
