Mayonaise Put 1 cup water on to boil with 1/4 cup vinegar & lemon juice mixed. When that boiles, have 2 tablespoonsfull of flour mixed with 2 tablespoons oil mixed & stir together & boil 5 minutes. Take from fire & beat in the yolkes of 2 eggs that have been beaten. Let cool. Beat in 1 cup oil 1/4 at a time. Then have a teaspoonful of mustard 1 of salt 1 shake of black & red pepper. Mix with a little of the dressing in a cup first then stir into whole quantity. If wished use cream for thinning to taste.
