Wednesday September 11th 1878 The boys all started into school this morning. Mr Durham came with a roommate and in the afternoon Mr Swisher came. We now have our full number with the exception of Mr Dickeys roommate who will be here next week. Mother went over to town to see Mrs Dennison this afternoon. And I went down to Robinsons awhile. I heard down there that Lizzie was coming down tonight. I had to come home for Hatt was away. I am working on my tidy all my spare time. I was to town this morning and got me a calico dress. Thursday September 12th 1878 I helped with the housework all the forenoon after dinner we washed the dishes first thing and I took my work and went down to Robinsons to spend the afternoon. Had a real good visit but hurried home to help get the supper and found Hatt here. We all went to work at it and when it was all over I sat down to work on my tidy. The weather is as cold as winter.
