22 Will. I ran around town awhile and just as I was ready to go down to Etts I met her on the street. I helped her do her marketing and then went down home with her. She had the girl get me some dinner. After I had eaten I curled my hair and went over to Mrs. Beechers. I staid there about an hour. At five oclock Will came down with a four horses sleigh. And Jim and Emma and Ira were with him. We brought Tommy and Ett. Florence and Will Work, Esther, and Curt Hardy with his violin out home with us. We had an oyster supper at eight oclock. And then cleared the table away to dance What a splendid time we did have I know they must all have enjoyed themselves. It was twelve oclock when they all went home and I for one was tired enough to go to bed. I got four wretched valentines today. I got me a new hair switch today I paid five dollars for it I also got me a new blue sash some ribbons and a few other trifles, besides paying some bills I owed Mr Studyvin paid me seventy dollars of school money yesterday and I paid Jennie $28.00 on my board. The weather still keeps cold it did not thaw at all today. I have not heard from Charlie this week.
