25 team to the big sleigh to take Mrs Work down town and Jennie was going along to attend to some errands. Will and I went along for the ride as it was pleasant. And I dont suppose four folks ever had more fun than we did coming home I wrote Mother a long letter today. Friday February 19th 1875. We got rather early this morning as we girls had some ironing to do before breakfast. We dressed immediately after breakfast. And Ira took us down to the depot. And Laura and Will came down in the cutter before they went out to school as Laura was going to teach for me today. We got to Linclon at ten oclock and had to stay there till five in the afternoon. We went up town and had a dish of oysters and done some shopping. I got me a couple of pair of gloves. When we got down to Broadwell, Uncle met us at the depot, and took us to his son's house where they made us very welcome In the evening we went to church and as soon as we came home went to bed. I was very tired and sleepy. The weather is very much warmer, it thawed considerable today.
