34 and Oh my! what a jolly time we did have of it nothing could exceed the way those boys carried on But we got the washing done in good time and in good shape. After a late dinner I changed my dress and worked on my apron. In the evening we young people sang some. I had the tooth ache all the latter part of the evening. Tuesday March 16th 1875. It was a terribly windy day, but I walked to school and back. I felt pretty tired at night as I had not walked it for some time. I helped Laura wash the supper dishes. Uncle got home this evening. I sewed some at night. Wednesday March 17th 1875. I walked to school and back today. What spare time I had I worked on an apron I am braiding for Mrs Beecher. I had a letter from Mother and Rob and one from Charlie tonight. Weather more pleasant today than yesterday. Thursday March 18th 1875. Very early this morning it began to snow and blow from the northeast and continued through the entire day. I dont think I ever saw a more disagreeable day in the month of march. I did not
