37 Monday March 22nd 1875. I walked to school this morning and rode home with Maggie McKee in the evening. I helped Laura wash the supper dishes and then sewed all the evening. Will went away today. Ira was down town in the evening and brought me a letter from Mother. I wrote to Charlie today. Tuesday March 23rd 1875. I walked to school this morning and in the evening Ira came after me. I sewed what time I had during the day and in the evening on my apron I am braiding. I got a letter from a mysterious stranger in Allerton, Iowa. I thawed considerable today the roads are getting very muddy. Laura stayed at Etts. Uncle went to McLean. Wednesday March 24th 1875. I rode to and from school today with Maggie. I sewed all the evening. Laura did come home tonight. This is Fathers birthday he is fifty nine years old today. Thursday March 25th 1878. I walked to school today. It was a chilly disagreeable morning, and I was tired nearly to death when I got there. Ira brought me
