56 Maggie McKee. I worked all my spare time today on my tidy. The boys went after Artie tonight. I did not get any mail. Friday May 7th 1875. I got a chance to ride to school this morning it was a warm windy day and I was nearly tired to death when I got home. I worked a little on my dress this evening and after supper on my tidy. Ett and Tom were out awhile. Saturday May 8th 1875. I dident feel at all well today. But worked steady on my linin dress I got the skirt and over-skirt done about five oclock and put them on with another waist. In the evening worked on my tidy. Tom and Ett were out awhile. Uncle got home today. They all went down town at night. I got my music and a letter from Charlie tonight. Weather disagreeably warm. Sunday May 9th 1875. It rained nearly the whole day. I read some and wrote a letter to Charlie and Hattie No one was here nor no one went any place it was a horribly long day. This is Hatties birth-day. She is eighteen years old.
