75 Monday June 28th 1875. I began to wash early this morning and though I had a large washing I got it all done by noon. Mr Allen went to the depot after his father this morning who has come to attend commencement. And Grand-ma and Grand-pa were here for dinner. In the afternoon I took grand-ma to town in the buggy, but before I went I cleaned up both rooms up stairs in fine style. I attended the Class day exercises of the law class which was very good. Mattie Folsom rode over home with me from town. The folks were at supper when I came. I brought in the clothes and rolled them up after we got the work done up. This has been a splendid day. Tuesday June 29th 1875. I did not feel very well but ironed all the forenoon Mother was to town a while I mended and put away the clothes in the afternoon. Mother and I rode over to town just before supper Mr. Fegan took supper here and while the folks were at supper Hatt and I took a buggy ride in our bare heads.
