88 things that I got in town, and began to clean up things that were left from the washing. I worked all the afternoon till night before I got through and got supper over. I churned after night and did not get to bed till ten oclock. Oh how tired I was. Friday July 30th 1875. I had a world of work to do in the cellar this morning and Winnie went to her ironing. I put in the whole forenoon at that and the churning as we had two of them to do. I sent to town for ice for my butter and it was real nice. As soon a dinner was over I began to iron. It took till five oclock. I sent cream to town this evening. It was late before I got the work done up and I was very tired. A letter from Allerton Iowa, and a postal from Hattie. Saturday July 31st 1875. I got the work partly done this morning and Winnie and I went to town in the buggy. I saw Mr Palmer there. I got some groceries and came home. I did lots of baking and other work today. I had a letter from Billy Reed and one from one of my little scholars. Blanche went home today and Emma came up. Weather quite cool.
