95 Sunday August 15th 1875. I did not do much of any-thing this forenoon I felt all used up I worked so hard yesterday. Early in the afternoon the girls started for a ride with Jim Folsom I practiced a little and late in the afternoon Lee and I went down to Uncle Jims on horse back had a real pleasant visit and a splendid ride home. Went to bed early tonight. Monday August 16th 1875. I put in the whole forenoon doing house-work Hattie started to the Institute today. Mother and I were going to McCalls in the afternoon But it rained so we could not and I worked awhile in the rags. Just before supper we girls got at the washing We got the clothes all in to soak tonight. Tuesday August 17th 1875. I put the clothes out this morning and did the scrubbing besides helping with the dinner. Mother and I started over to McCalls soon after dinner We had a very pleasant visit. Father brought the buggy over and Mother and Mrs W_ rode home. But I walked. I helped with the work.
