108 Wednesday September 22nd 1875. I ironed in the forenoon and sewed in the afternoon on pillow ticks. Aunt Sarah was here a little while. Father went to Toledo Iowa tonight I took him over to the train. I sewed in the evening. Thursday September 23rd 1875. I worked all the forenoon and part of the afternoon changing feathers. Hattie and I went to town a little while in the afternoon. Friday September 24th 1875. I sewed all the forenoon on ruffled pillow cases I was making. As soon as I ate my dinner I began washing I had only a few pieces and soon got through. Mother went to town in the little waggon with Rob and brought us girls home a new stove for our room. I went to society in the evening. Rob was duly installed president of the society. When I came home I found Mollie and Jim Folsom with Ada Fletcher had spent the evening here The boarders had company they stopped in the sitting room and talked a few moments as they came home.
