112. Sunday October 3rd 1875. Mother and Father spent the day at Aunt Sarahs As soon as we girls got the work done up Hattie went over to town to see Winnie and brought her back with her to dinner. I wrote to Charlie, Will Reed, and Anna Gilbert in the afternoon. Hattie took a ride in the evening while I got the dinner. I had a letter from Charlie. I was fearfully blue most of the day. Monday October 4th 1875. As soon as the work was done this morning I cut out and began to sew on my new calico dress. Mother was gone all the afternoon with Mrs Folsom after grapes. I worked on my dress in the evening. Tuesday October 5th 1875. A rainy disagreeable day. I worked on my dress all day. In the evening Mr Bently and Pottle came down stairs and we played cards. Had heaps and heaps of fun. Though I should not have taken the time. A year ago today I began my school over in Illinois. Wednesday October 6th 1875. It cleared of in the course of the forenoon. Aunt Sarah took dinner with us. I rode over to town
