121. Sunday October 31st 1875. I did up the work this morning One of the boys had company for dinner We all sang in the afternoon. I had a letter from Al today which I answered immediately. I walked over to Wins in the afternoon. Ell Clark was here a few moments. I wrote Charlie a long letter in the evening and a few lines to Lou Reeves. Hattie went to the valley with Uncle Will. Monday November 1st 1878. I washed today and walked to town late in the afternoon I got a dozen new napkins when I came home I helped get the supper work done and rolled up the clothes. Eugene Hart and family with friends from New York spent the evening here. It has been a delightful day. Tuesday November 2nd I hurried and got the work done up this morning and ironed some before ten oclock I went up to Auntys with the folks that was over here last night. We had a splendid day of it. I helped get the work done after supper and then ironed till bed-time. I was tired and went to bed as soon as I got through ironing
