129. Wednesday November 24th 1875. I helped do the work this morning and baked a couple of cakes. I went to town in the afternoon I did not get my dress as it wasent ready. I got another lamp today. Lee went after Hattie they got home just at night. I read all the evening. Mr Fry went home today. Thursday November 25th 1875. Thanksgiving day! I helped with the work and ironed and sewed a little We did not get supper at night but took up a piece for the boys. We made quite a visit up there and had lots of fun. I read all the evening and Mr Bently played cards with Hatt The weather was so disagreeable there was no social. Friday November 26th 1875. Did nothing but the house-work today. Mother went to town in the afternoon. Rob went after Winnie in the evening. We invited the boys down and Mollie and Jim over and we had a real good time. It was about eleven oclock when they went home I was very tired and sleepy and went right to bed. Weather chilly and disagreeable.
