Tuesday January 22- 1935 Still cold I was home all day busy with my work. Mrs Gay at the shop. Read some in evening Wednesday January 23- 1935 I was home all day too cold to go out and I keep busy here.letter from Ida. Hattie better Thursday January 24, 1935 Mr Gay left for the week end today. weather some warmer. William came for me at two o'clock to go to Arthur Stillwells funeral. Ott met us at the mortuary we went to the cemetery. I stopped up town to do some errands William brought me home Mrs Gay away in evening. letter from Ott Seibert. The verdict in the Folsom murder case Guilty, sentence later. Friday January 25- 1935 Rob took me home with him at noon. Cora gone to Cedar Rapids for the day. After supper Rob took all of us the the church to a reception for the new minister I rode home with the Andersons letter from Winnie Saturday January 26- 1935 I finished a piece of crotchet work and began another Mrs Gay at the shop. Mrs Welsh here to do work. Ott here late in afternoon. Weather some warmer. Wrote Harry Able Sunday January 27- 1935 I went to church with the Andersons. Mrs Gay and I here alone I slept some in the afternoon and read the papers. In the evening wrote Erma Herriott. Winnie Lorna & Edith & sister Ida, sending clippings of the Folsom trial last week. Weather some pleasanter.
