Thursday February 7- 1935 Wrote Birdie before I got at any thing else. I then did some crotchet work. It sleeted most of the PM Mrs Gay here we both slept awhile. George Gay drove to take his mother Dorothy and me to the ME church to supper Mr Gay came for us. a paper from Delavan. Friday February 8- 1935 I was home all day wrote a long letter to Margie Hartsock. Did some sewing and crotchet work. Ott here late in afternoon brought deposit checks for interest on Butler Bros & Missouri Public service. each $25.00 My face is breaking out again. Very painful. Saturday February 9- 1935 I crotcheted some on table cover in AM. Was in bed most of the afternoon. Mrs. Welsh here doing washing and cleaning. The snow melted some. to bed early Sunday February 10- 1935 I went to church with The Andersons. William & Ott brought me home. I slept awhile in the afternoon. The Gays away. I wrote Emily [Bremson?] & Lorna & Edith Monday February 11- 1935 I started another chair set in AM. Soon after lunch William took me up town. I was in the stores some and to Dr Smiths office to let him see my neck which seems better. Hattie to Home board meeting she came back with Mrs Gay. I called on Mrs Leonard and Lorna [Mahona?]. William brought me home at 5.30
