Monday May 13- 1935 A chill rainy day. There has been two hard rains lately I read and rested much today. Hattie & Rob went over to Otts after lunch to get her check for the money the [Rates?] owed her. And placed it in the bank before she went to the home board meeting Cora away part of the day. Tuesday May 14- 1935 I accomplished very little today Rob & Cora not here for lunch. I went down to eat with Hattie I slept part of the afternoon a cloudy day Wednesday May 15- 1935 Hattie & I rode down town with Rob at ten oclock I got some things to bring back. Wrote Mr Crabbe about Bonds. Mrs Gay brought us home I slept most of the PM wrote in this book in the evening Listened to Radio Thursday May 16- 1935 I read most of the forenoon but wrote Ida. The men are making wonderful progress on the work here. Hattie and Cora went to Stiendlers in the PM. I spend the time with Ott. He is so much better. Hattie to play in evening I wrote to Lorna Friday May 17- 1935 Home all day. sent chair set to Mrs Falk to copy. Mr Crabbe here for lunch. Read and rested in afternoon Saturday May 18- 1935 Rob took us to the hospital. Dr Kerr did not give an x Ray treatment. Home by Taxi. Letters from LeGrand, Mrs. Falk & Will Work. I rested most of the afternoon.
