Thursday June 13 1935 I worked on my rug awhile in A M. Then dressed to go to Whetstones with Mrs. Newcomb to a Red party very pleasant I sewed some after I came back. Was over at Otts awhile in evening. a fine day. Friday June 14.- 1935 I was home all day worked some on the rug and slept in PM. Mrs Gay home all forenoon she got a lot of cleaning done with Mays help After supper a ride in the country with the Gays Saturday June 15- 1935 I finished the rug before noon. was very tired rested most of the PM and read some Mary took me over there awhile in evening a letter from LeGrand says he will leave there the 24 - or 25 - with three days here. Sunday June 16- 1935 It rained most of the night and part of today Rob took me to church and I went home with Hattie for the day. Rob & Cora away for dinner It was her birth-day I read most of the evening. Monday June 17- 1935 I went in the attic this evening and got some-thing to work with. It rained in PM. I slept and read some. Tuesday June 18- 1935 More rain today. I sewed some. read and slept in PM. A letter from Lorna written in Peoria. The Whetstones busy with getting things settled about the house
