Monday July 8 1935 I was busy most of the forenoon I did some cleaning Soon after dinner Mrs Gay took me out to [Elmore?] spent the afternoon with Aunt Emma & Mary Price family. Hattie came later and Rob brought us home Tuesday July 9 1935 I got some things out of the box in the attic to work with. I sent check in Am to Historical Society I slept some in PM. After supper rode up beyond Coralville with The Byingtons. Wrote [illegible] after that. Wednesday July 10 1935 I cut out things to be of use from old muslin and sewed some. Mrs Gay at home all afternoon not well. Mollie here for a call. Very warm we sat on the porch. Early to bed. Thursday July 11 1935 I wrote Mrs Falk and sewed some in AM Mrs Gay better she had a woman do a lot of washing I slept awhile PM Evening rode to North Liberty with the Fays. Wrote Harry & [illegible] Mason Friday July 12 1935 Washed out some things. Sewed some and did some ironing in PM after I took a sleep. Mrs Gay busy at home. Saturday July 13 1935 William took me up town in AM. Came back by Bus I met Fred Stevens who told me Aunt Emma very sick I went home with Rob at noon when they brought me home we called to inquire about Aunt Emma. she was better. I had a letter from Lorna and card from Winnie weather cooler.
