Tuesday July 30, 1935 Very warm. Hattie here late in until Rob came for her. I rested in PM and sewed a little Edith Whetstones birthday, she would have been 54. Wednesday July 31st 1935. So hot no one gets any rest. I was home all day Edna Mitchell here in PM for a short call. They start home tomorrow. I did not do much. Thursday August 1st 1919 I started a table cover for Edna Mitchell. Mary came for me in PM. I stopped up town to do a couple of errands, went home with her to stay till bed-time William in Des Moines. very warm. Mrs Gay took me to ride after supper went to Tiffen a letter from Bertha Budlong tells her Mother died. Friday August 2nd 1935 I did a little washing for myself. Later Mrs Gay came and did the big washing. After dinner I washed my hair and rested some. Mary came and got what canned fruit I had. I wound some thread after supper. Did my ironing a hot day. The Jensens on a trip in Feb. Saturday August 3rd 1935 I did some sewing in forenoon and rested after dinner. Mrs Gay busy at home ironing and sewing I had letters from LeGrand & Mattie Stitt.
