Friday October 18th 1935 Dr Ned here again in A.M. I slept well last night. I wrote cards to Laura, Winnie & Ida. Alice took them down ton. Hattie busy. William & Mary here in PM. Saturday October 19th 1935 rested quietly all day, slept much of the time. Hattie away for a few minutes in AM with a lady on business. Mollie here in afternoon. weather pleasant. Sunday October 20th 1935 Hattie went to church with The Ensigns. I was in bed all day. Late in PM The Byingtons came over. Ott brought letters from LeGrand and bank statement. 40 years today we buried Bro Charles and it was Sunday too. Rob & Cora home. Monday October 21st 1935 Still in bed all the time. I feel better as to the distress in breathing. Cora away late in forenoon. Card from Laura written in Peoria. They took the little boy to Chicago Friday but brought him back again. weather not so pleasant. Tuesday October 22nd 1935 Slept well last night. Hattie down town in AM. Dr Ned here to see me. Mrs Gay here in PM. Brought letters from Winnie & Emma Herriott. weather pleasant. Wednesday October 23rd 1935 I spent most of the day in bed. The girls to their club at Mrs George Fulks in afternoon.
