Thursday November 7th 1935 I was up in forenoon. did some more writing Cora to Cedar Rapids taking Mildred McCallister with her. Rob away for the day. Friday November 8th 1935 I lay down in AM and went to sleep again. Helen Whinney sent me lovely flowers. I did some writing in PM. Hattie away to Pensions board meeting. Saturday November 9th 1935 Robert Jellison came from Chicago and his Mother from Minneapolis on late trains last night. Rob & Cora met her in Cedar Rapids. I was dressed today. I listened to The Minnesota - Iowa football game. Iowa was beaten Hepburn Chamberlain here. It began to rain late in PM. Sunday November 10th 1935 Rob took Hattie to S S & Church. The girls went after her. The family rested and slept in PM. Robert started back to Chicago at 2:35. William brought me letters from Winnie and Ida. Monday November 11th 1935 I was up most of the day. Wrote Winnie & Ida on the PM and folded some hems in towels for Hattie. She was gone to Home board meeting. The girls to picture show. Armistice Day. Three years since Anna Denton died. Tuesday November 12th 1935 I folded some more towels. Hattie down town in forenoon. I wrote Mrs Falk. Mary here in AM. Alice went away to be in Cedar Rapids for a funeral tomorrow.
