Saturday November 30th 1935 Otto & Blanche left for home at nine oclock. I did not get up till noon. Hattie & Birdie down town in AM to get a new coat for Birdie. I slept some in afternoon. Mr Hanna came for Birdie about nine in evening. Sunday December 1st 1935 Hattie to S S & church. I wrote Laura & Edith. I went down stairs for dinner. slept some and down in evening. Bro Otts birthday. Monday December 2nd 1935 I wrote Jeff & Julia in AM. We heard he was sick and the 4th is his birthday. I slept some. Was down stairs for two meals. Hattie home. Cora away pat of the time. Letter from LeGrand, Mrs Jensen called in afternoon. Tuesday December 3rd 1935 Hattie down town in AM. I had card from Grace Taylor and letter from Ida Anderson. Later one from Laura with one enclosed Julia had written her. I slept some in PM. Wednesday December 4th 1935 The girls went to their crotchet club in PM. I did up a chair protector for Maggie Carnahan. wrote her and Ida Anderson. Sent Laura's letter to her. Rev & Mrs Jones called in PM. William here in forenoon. Radio in evening. Thursday December 5th 1935 I did not get up very early. Read till lunch time. William here for short call. Cora & Hattie down town awhile in PM. Rob, Cora & Hattie and The Byingtons to a turkey dinner at the church in evening. Hattie brought me some turkey.
